We have over 80 km of signposted hiking routes, also to mountain restaurants and rest places, available to hiking enthusiasts here in Eben. The region has over 500 km of signposted routes and climbs, of various levels of difficulty.

- Adventure further afield with 4 or 5 overnight stays, without any hassle and maximum ease
Your luggage will remain in the valley and will be brought to the next hotel for you. Further information about the all-inclusive "uphill and downhill" package.
- Moosalm: walking time approx. 1 hour
Departure point – Kreistsiedlung estate, turn off at – Ebner holiday homes and follow the signposted route nr. 12 to the Moosalm hut. The hike is along an evenly ascending forest road, and goes through the forest for the majority of the time.
Difference in altitude: 314 metres.
- Reitlehenalm and Oberbuchsteinalm: walking time approx. 2 hours
Starting point – Kreistsiedlung estate, via Ranstlweg to the Hödeggbauer farm and then carry on until the forest road. At this crossing, take route nr. 13 to the right, to the Oberbuchsteinalm and then onto the Reitlehenalm (10 min). The majority of this hike is through the forest and across the pastures of the Buchsteinalmen.
Difference in altitude: 445 metres.
- Gerzkopf – walking time approx. 4 hours
Starting point – Schattbach (bus stop), via the Schattbachwinkel road to Knapp farm, along the signposted route nr.15 to the Gerzkopf nature reserve. Wonderful panoramic views and "incredible" black waters. This hiking route is a part of the all-inclusive “uphill and downhill“ package and is a well signposted and safe climb. Further hikes via the Gsenglatte to Neuberg/ Filzmoos are also possible.
Difference in altitude: 900 metres.
- Höllbergweg a): walking time approx. 3 hours
Starting point – sports centre, go through the motorway underpass and turn right onto the forest road nr. 244 until you get to the Schertlgut, and then go on the Höllberg track to Eben. Easy hike through woods and fields.
Difference in altitude: 350 metres.
- Höllbergweg b): walking time approx. 3 hours
Starting point – sports centre, go through the motorway underpass and turn right onto the forest road nr. 244 until you reach the signposted turnoff. Turn left onto route nr. 40 via Kornberg and Schartlhof to Eben.
Difference in altitude: 680 metres.
- Rossbrandweg – walking time approx. 4 hours
Starting point – Pöttlerpromenade, direction Pöttlerhof. Get on route nr.11 in the direction of the ski lifts. From there follow the signposted route nr. 460 until you reach the Radstädterhütte. This hike has a medium degree of difficulty, mainly through forest areas.
Difference in altitude: 920 metres.
- Österreichrundweg (Austrian circular route) – walking time approx. 1,5 hours
Starting point – Landzeit service station, above the museum and House Marianne go on the Gasthofberg road and then turn right until you get to the Halmgut hut. From there, head in the direction of St.Martin, until you reach the Österreichweg nr. 19 and then to Buchegg. Go back on the access road to the starting point. Half of the hike is through woodland.
Difference in altitude: 400 metres.
